The various types of organizations in the database include: corporations, associations, nonprofits, universities, hospitals, etc. The size threshold for entities included on a list varies by list. Organizations are selected based on their inclusion on an industry list we have elected to analyze.
Inclusion of audit relationships for private entities is the distinguishing feature of our Industry Lists product. We have been tracking audit firm market share in the private company sphere for nearly 40 years. Annually, we contact the private companies to confirm their current audit firm.
